Deviance and Society in Child Support Law

One way of distinguishing between the different kinds of behavior is whether they are perceived as socially acceptable or socially deviant behavior. Behavior that is perceived as socially deviant is highly stigmatized, which often causes as many or more problems for the person engaging in the behavior than the addiction itself — if there even is an addiction.

Non-custodial parents have been placed by government into this category of stigmatized behavior, most probably under the category of exploitative sex. Nothing could be further from the truth, since this exploit works both ways. There is no excuse for a jezebel, a whore, male or female, to hold an axe over someone else’s head for twenty years or life, with a never-ending debt to the state. This action is no different from murder or other crimes of passion. To make matters worse, non-custodial parents have lost their right to due process and Constitutional law on several counts. Non-custodial parents aren’t typically predators engaging in predatory behavior. Most often, the reality is the opposite. However, predatory controlling behavior continues to be rewarded, especially on the part of the state. Legal precedence says that the Constitution no longer matters. Let’s face it, this nation has ceased to be a land of freedom, but is a land of oppressive law; a rule of law, not the rule of the jungle, as President H.E. Bush so aptly put it in his acclaim for the New World Order. Some order.

The deviants are in fact, in charge of oppressive law that relegates men and women to slaves, without the right to a fair hearing or adjustment by a judge no matter the circumstances. This is truth, no matter how some are benefited from this oppression. The largest benefactor is the corporate state and the corporations that perform the odd jobs of collecting the child support while hiring the lowest possible level of employee for the job at the lowest possible rate. The big loser is the American taxpayer, who pays a substantial award for collection, which motivates the further proliferation of corporate power within the nation. We have become part of numbing enslaving system that isn’t smart enough to ask questions.

Unconstitutional Criminalization Oppresses Parents

One of the most oppressive and downright illegal developments in modern society is the criminalization of parents for debt. In many cases, this debt cannot be legally substantiated, especially considering that the Bradley Amendment is unconstitutional on multiple counts. Compare this to the reaction of the Federal government against the State of Arizona with illegal immigration law, an attempt to remedy a blight on the nation. Clearly, the schizophrenic Feds do not see the reality of situation as they demand complete control over States and States Rights for their own distorted agenda.

It is noted by the media that parents who can’t afford to pay arrears are not charged with a crime. How this criteria is actually met remains a mystery since the debt continues to skyrocket, regardless of the physical condition of the NCP. In the case that the hapless soul actually recovers from life threatening disability or accident, he or she is due to be criminalized if they don’t move fast enough to satisfy “authorities.”

The NCP is unable to change the debt amount when recession or job loss hits, resulting in unavoidable debt because of an unresponsive court system that could care less. The nation is full of parents that face chronic unemployment. Who can afford legal services when they are living on unemployment benefits or on the street? Scarcely one, most would know. Most non-custodial parents have been reduced to slave labor and the wages that go along with it. They are beggars reduced to pawns of society.

The damage inflicted on the American family is impossible to calculate.  Meanwhile, Obama and the Federal government continued to advertise this “Father’s Day” that dads must give their due; that this is only the human thing to do. They completely discount the insurmountable oppression and the specter of a new type of debtors’ prison, bringing back an immoral and condemned European commodity of the past. What is worse is that this “child debt” cannot be eradicated by legitimate bankruptcy.  Despite the latest “Father’s Day” propaganda, most unemployed divorced dads have been reduced to little or nothing, with the same support orders and a never-ending “can-do” attitude required.

To make matters worse in support of Federal Bradley Law, many states and municipalities make a charge of criminal nonsupport. In  Ohio, the perception of non-support is a fifth-degree felony with a maximum sentence of a year in prison. Many custodial parent sociopaths and cooperative community leaders angrily and eagerly ply their vengeance as they parade mug shots and seek to hunt down divorced parents, usually men, in the style of 1984 or Farenheit 451. Yes, America is now the stuff of science fiction authors. America has become a truly lawless nation, with laws that don’t even support the humanism that “we” claim to proclaim. America has become a land of oppression that violates the Constitution, while the Feds go after States that attempt to follow the nation’s founding documents as they seek to solve problems that the Feds won’t deal with.

Lack of financial support from absent parents can be devastating to the health and well-being of these children,” says prosecutor Bill Mason. He doesn’t consider that men cannot see their children, much less support them. Because of this financial and spiritual blight cast upon the nation by a mindlessly hateful and feminist court system, mothers have been encouraged to dump fathers when the going gets tough so that they can depend on “Uncle Sam.” Custodial parents are then imprisoned by the same problems in raising children that non-custodial parents have: the lack of finances. The reality is that nothing has changed except that a whole segment of America now depends on government to survive. Meanwhile, parents still struggle to raise decent “law-abiding” children in a land of the ruling hand that lacks any semblance of love or decency. The nation of politics has all these matters summed up in one nice ball of responsibility focused on fathers. You don’t hear any sage advice about responsibility being dispensed to mothers. This is assumed even though mothers are not always “all that.”

Slavery, in itself is nothing new. In fact, this nation was founded on it. We still seek slaves to command. If not illegals to serve our needs, then non-custodial parents. The nation would rather look the other way. This evil against American citizens continues unabated during the worst “recession” of decades, while untold millions continue to bite the dust, impoverished by crushing and immoral debt.

Lifetime TV Prepares to Run Down Parents in the Name of Bradley Law

About a year ago, Fox was entertaining running a program about “deadbeat dads”. Objections of the public swayed executives at Fox from airing the program. Now Jim Durham has found a taker to air his program with Lifetime TV.

What is the program about? “Good ‘ol boy” Jim Durham tracks down “deadbeat dads” and oppresses them like a childhood bully.  Reuters declares that “Deadbeat Dads” is ambush reality TV. Durham targets fathers that are behind on child support by making their lives miserable via home foreclosures, repossessions and the like. The show is about Jim Durham “squeezing” non-custodial parents that are behind on child support without apology. Allegedly, Durham has the authority to operate in this way. Hm-m. Surely, this will ultimately cause the social pendulum to swing the other direction at a time when the United States economy has placed millions of honest men out of work and at a disadvantage through Bradley Amendment oppression, perhaps forever financially ruined, even homeless.

“Deadbeat Dads” unfairly profiles divorced fathers as uncaring and selfish. Evidence and research clearly shows that most divorced dads pay child support and remain a part of their children’s lives, often under difficult and ingratiating circumstances. This show is demeaning and defamatory to fathers while building on many child support myths. To file a protest with Lifetime TV, click for details here.

Dads and Judicial Prejudice

According to a recent California Department of Child Support Services report, one of the leading factors creating “deadbeat dads” in California is that fathers who owe child support are rarely able to get downward modifications on their child support when they suffer drops in income.

According to an Urban Institute study, less than one in 20 non-custodial parents who suffers a substantial drop in income is able to get courts to reduce the support obligation. In the words of one California judge: “I don’t care if you live under a highway underpass in the meantime, just pay your support as ordered.”

A Los Angeles Superior Court judge just lowered actress Anne Heche’s child support obligation by 75% because Heche says she has fallen on financial hard times. In addition, she was recently relieved of paying child support for July.

The judge may well have acted correctly in this case, but the question must be asked, “If Heche can get a huge reduction so easily, why is it so hard for fathers in similar circumstances to get reductions?” Does the judge cutting some slack have something to do with Heche being a high profile person?
